William "Bill" Michael Dombrowski Jr.

William (Bill) Dombrowski Jr, of Macomb County passed away on September 2, 2020 at home in Clinton Township, surrounded by his loving family.  Bill was born August 25, 1964 to William and Linda in Detroit, Mi.  He was an extremely courageous man who was loved by many.  Bill married the love of his life Heather on June 15, 1991.  This weekend marks the 31st anniversary when Bill and Heather met at the Romeo Peach Festival. They have 2 sons, Ryan and Zachary.  Bill was an athlete who enjoyed watching and playing many sports. He especially loved coaching hockey for his sons. Bill loved to laugh with his family and friends, and was always the life of the party. 

 

Bill’s career was in the construction industry and he recently retired from Oliver Hatcher Construction as a Senior Project Superintendent. 

 

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Heather and sons Ryan and Zachary.  He leaves behind his father, William Dombrowski Sr (the late Cindee), brother Keith (Katie) Dombrowski; In-laws William (Pat) Stachan, Ian (Rebecca) Strachan and James (Brenda) Strachan. Longtime cherished friend and family Laurie Bucholtz and her children Andrea, Michael and Morgan along with many loving Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Behnke, and sister, Sheri Dombrowski. 

He will be greatly missed.

Visitation will take place at Lee-Ellena Funeral Home on Friday, September 4th from 2pm to 8pm. Recitation of the Rosary will take place at 7pm. 

A funeral mass will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church in Mount Clemens on Saturday, September 5th at 9am. He will lie instate at 8:30am.
