William David Cochell, age 60 of Clinton Twp., passed away on April 2, 2022.
William, known to most as Bill, was born on March 4, 1962, in Detroit, Michigan to Calvin and Marilyn (Edwards) Cochell. As a young man, Bill attended Oakland University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in communications. It was at Oakland University that Bill would meet the love of his life and future bride Theresa Beaver, while they were both attending their graduation ceremony. Bill and Theresa would go on to raise three beloved children together: David, Kaylee, and Emmelyn. Bill loved nothing more than his family and was a wonderful husband and father. He spent a lot of time with his children, spoiling his girls and watching his favorite sports teams with his son. He cheered for the Red Wings, Tigers, Lions, Pistons, and especially loved Michigan football. Bill worked for AAA Michigan for many years and was a cherished coworker to all. Bill had a passion for coaching sports, playing hockey (as an all-star goalie), and grilling delicious meals on his beloved Traeger Grill. Bill’s memory will forever live on in the hearts and souls of all who loved him.
Beloved husband of Theresa Cochell for 34 years; proud father of David Cochell, Kaylee Cochell, and Emmelyn Cochell; dearest brother of Linda (Bill) Siegert, and Brian (Loree) Cochell; cherished son-in-law of Celeste Beaver; loved brother-in-law of Gina Hunter; loving uncle of Amanda, Greg (Kristyn), Matthew (Paige), Mitchell (Kirsi), Maddison, Drake, and Lucas; best dog dad to Wrigley; dear neighbor and friend of Ray and Lorri Coughlin.
