Violet Heine

Violet Theresa Heine, age 95, passed away on August 9, 2023. 

Violet was born to Leone and Rubina Cori on September 18, 1927, in Detroit, Michigan. She married the love of her life, Walter, and together they raised four wonderful children. Violet was an active woman; Violet conducted exercise classes for senior citizens for many years at the Warren Rec Center and Warren Woods schools, and she volunteered for years at Health O Rama. She enjoyed sewing, and she sewed many things for charity. Violet made stuffed bears for cancer patients, walker bags, and activity mats for people with autism and dementia. Violet was very outgoing. She had many friends and family that she enjoyed spending time with. She enjoyed going bowling, singing, camping, and she especially enjoyed going out to eat. Violet had a love of cooking Italian food, baking cakes, and was even at one time a cake decorator. She was an avid animal lover, and loved all types of animals. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.  

Cherished mother to Jane (late Dennis) Borse, Dennis (Vicky) Heine, Steve Heine, and Therese (Brian) Leigh. Proud grandmother to Paul, Joseph, Todd (Rebecca), Laura (John), Denny (Jennifer), and Corey (Kristin). Loving great-grandmother to Amanda (Bill), Nick (Maddison), Jessica (Tadji), Noah, Addison, Nate, Eva, Madison, Chayse, and Olivia. Beloved Great Great Grandmother to Zayvian, Tadji Jr., Evelyn, Gotham, Grayson, and Preston. 

Joined in Heaven with her loving husband Walter, parents, Leone and Rubina; siblings Leora, Anthony, Libero, Mary, Florence, and Rose; Grandson Jeffrey and Great Grandson Marcus
