Victoria Nasir

Victoria Nasir passed away peacefully on January 5, 2022.  
Victoria was born on September 6, 1931 to Ebrahim and Mariam in Syria. She was married the love of her life, Abraham, in Detroit. Together they raised their cherished daughter, Vicky (Kevin) Elias. Victoria was a loving step-mother to Louise (Bill) Ward, Louis (Jan) Nasir, George Nasir, MaryJane (Leon) Klea, Sandra (Jack) Ketko, Anthony Nasir, and Rose Nasir.  She had many wonderful brothers and sisters; the late Fadel (the late Wajeeha) Mbarkeh, Barakat (Hadwa) Mbarkeh, the late Georges (Naiema) Mbarkeh, Elias (the late Siham) Mbarkeh, Halim (Tamra) Mbarkeh, Khalil (Najwa) Mbarkeh, Hilla (Salam) Phenny, and Hena (the late George) Mbarkeh. Victoria was blessed with many grandchildren.  She loved to cook and bake, take care of a huge garden, play cards with friends and family, spend precious time with her grandchildren and make beautiful handmade rugs and blankets. Her house was always open and welcoming.  She loved having company and spending time with others.  Victoria was a devoted wife, mother, and a loving grandmother to her grandchildren.

Predeceased by her loving husband Abraham; devoted parents Ebrahim and Mariam; and brothers Fadel and Georges.
