Victor Lloyd Schroeder

Victor Lloyd Schroeder, a loving husband to Joan for 60 years and devoted father to Victor & Heather, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2024 after living a life filled with passion and joy. He was born to parents Victor & Ella Schroeder in New Baltimore, Michigan on April 30, 1941.  Vic was a Vietnam Veteran who served in the Army Big Red One 1st Infantry Division from 1962 - 1964 during which time he acquired the Rank of Sergeant. He remained an active member of several veteran organizations. Vic was an employee of Chrysler and later of General Dynamics with 31 years of dedicated service. 

Vic cherished every moment spent pursuing his hobbies and interests. He had a passion for woodworking that brought forth beautifully crafted pieces for friends & family. He loved to entertain & was very enthusiastic about music & dancing. 

With a keen eye for detail and a knack for fixing anything that came his way, Vic's skillful hands ensured that everything he touched shone with perfection. His love for adventure led him to embark on exciting cruises and sharing thrilling experiences with loved ones.

Vic’s vibrant spirit will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew him. May his memory continue to shine brightly through the stories and memories shared by those who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with this remarkable man.

Beloved husband of Joan; loved father to Victor (Kelly) Schroeder II, and Heather (Keith) Lifton; cherished grandfather to Erin (Mike), Marquise (Nick), Olivia, Ethan, and Riley, loving great-grandfather to Easton, Nolan, Cecilia, Wylde, Willow, and cherished Uncle to many nieces and nephews; loving owner to his dog Harlow.
