Tracey Lynn DiTrapani

Beloved Tracey Lynn DiTrapani, age 54, passed away on May 21, 2024.

Tracey was born on August 5, 1969 in Detroit, Michigan, to Clifford and Grace Terry. She was one of five cherished siblings. After graduating from Clintondale High School in Clinton Township in 1988, Tracey met the love of her life, Carmen DiTrapani, at the New York New York bar. They exchanged vows on January 2, 1993, at San Francesco Catholic Church, surrounded by their families. Together, they raised their adored children Jeffrey, Samantha, and Jordan. Tracey was thrilled to become a grandmother later in her life, cherishing her family above all else.

Known for her hard work and dedication, Tracey spent many years as a cleaner before finding a fulfilling position at Chrysler as a production line worker. Her generosity, kindness, and willingness to help others were a true testament to her compassionate nature.

Beloved wife of Carmen DiTrapani; loving mother of Jeffrey DiTrapani, Samantha DiTrapani, and Jordan DiTrapani; proud grandmother of Robert Olschanski, Gracie Pace, Roman DiTrapani, and Giovanni Jackson; cherished sister of Michele (Michael) Keys, Annette (Frank) Russell, Valerie (Dave) Dusty, and Clifford (Jennifer) Terry; dear daughter-in-law of Hope DiTrapani. Tracey is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and numerous friends.

Visitation to take place on Friday, May 24 from 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Lee-Ellena Funeral Home with a rosary at 7:00PM. Funeral Mass on Saturday, May 25 at St. Michael’s Catholic  Church (40501 Hayes Road, Sterling Heights, MI 48313). Instate 10:30. Mass 11:00 AM.
