Todd Lawrence Carrier

Todd Lawrence Carrier age 41, passed away from complications of diabetes December 25th 2021. 

Todd was born on November 18, 1980 to Karen and Lawrence Carrier in Mount Clements, Michigan. 

Cherished Step-Grandson to William Hope. Adored Stepson to Sue (Charles) Winzer. Beloved half-brother to Deborah Rickert (Kristian), Stephanie Clement (Darin), Diane Carrier, Staci King (Jefferson). Cherished uncle of Spencer Forsell, Sophia, Eli and Olivia Rickert, Gracie and Noah Clement, Ashlee and Joshua Stogsdill, and Sean Bozich (Tiffany). Dear great uncle of Leona and Aliyah Bozich. 

Todd joins in heaven his loving father Lawrence Carrier; cherished Grandparents William Spearman; Marilyn Yanchus (Gary); Lawrence and Loretta Carrier and beloved dogs Crea and Peppin.

Beloved by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that were like family.

Todd’s love for theater started at Fraser High School and continued well after he graduated, on stage, behind the scenes or in the audience his passion for the arts could be felt by all. Todd cherished the summers he served as counselor at Camp Midicha in Fenton, where he mentored young people with diabetes. His first visit to Walt Disney World was when he was 4 years old, his love for Disney grew as he did, Todd cherished the time he worked at Disney and all the friendships he made, he returned to vacation every chance he could.

Todd loved to travel, experience new cultures, great food and was a master at trivia. Todd could put a smile on anyone’s face with his sense of humor. He was known for his generosity to his family and friends and the charity work he did for Give Kids the World, Reining in Warriors, Grace Center of Hope and many others.  He was on the board of directors for ToaD Gives Back & personally helped to deliver to those in need.

He was dedicated to his work at Meijer and most recently at Royal Roofing Co., taking evening classes to work toward his construction management degree.

Todd was known for his sparkle, in his personality and his wardrobe. Todd’s personality lit up those around him and his sparkle will be forever remembered and carried by his family, friends and all the people he met.

There will be a private memorial luncheon for immediate family, more information about a celebration of life at Walt Disney World to come. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a cause that Todd cherished ToaD gives back. https://toadgivesback.org
