Tina Marie Wilks (Peralta), age 54, of Auburn Hills Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on December 2nd, 2024 in the comfort of her home. Tina was born on January 31, 1970, to her loving parents John and Hazel Peralta in Kanagawa Ken, Japan. Tina's life was a vibrant tapestry woven with love, care, and laughter.
Tina was the beloved wife to her caring husband, Patrick Wilks, with whom she spent many years creating endless memories and experiencing life to its fullest. She was the loving mother to her daughters, Megan Abdenour, Kalliopi and Athena Kazdaglis, and the loving grandma to her grandson Jonathan Price. She was the beloved sister to her brother, Joseph Peralta (Paula) and her sister, Jaime Serra (William). She is also survived by many nephews and nieces, as well as other close family and friends.
As an adult, Tina was dedicated to becoming a nurse and proudly earned her degree from Baker College, while being a single mother of her three girls. She worked as a nurse for many years at St. John Moross, and made many loving and long-term connections along the way. When others had difficulty comprehending things, especially in her profession, she made complex concepts easy to understand and was a huge support to anyone around her. Her hard work was a testament to her determination and compassion, always putting others first. She was not just a caregiver by profession; she radiated warmth in everything she did. Tina was seen by many as a motherly figure and had the gift of forming connections between people. She loved being the person to unite everyone together. Tina found joy in the simplest of pleasures, whether it was splashing around in the water, enjoying boating trips, basking in sunny Florida, or whipping up delicious meals and treats in her kitchen. Her culinary skills were legendary, and her baked goods could brighten anyone's day.
As a proud homeowner, Tina cherished her cozy haven where she loved to entertain family and friends. As a devoted wife, mother, soccer mom, band mom, and grandma she created countless memories filled with love and fun for and with her girls and grandson. Her infectious laughter, magnetic personality, and open-hearted nature made her the life of every gathering. People were naturally drawn to her; she had a unique ability to make everyone feel welcomed and valued. Tina also adored her animals and always made room in her home for anyone or anything who needed love and care.
Tina will be deeply missed but celebrated for the incredible person she was. The life she left behind will never be the same. She impacted the lives of many, and her absence will surely be great. Tina will be joined in Heaven by Stylianos Kazdaglis, as well as many family and friends.

Remember My Love
I was chosen today
I’m learning to fly
the world took me away,
but please don’t you cry.
And I chose you today
to try and be strong
so please don’t you cry
and don’t say that I’m gone.
When you’re feeling alone
just remember our love,
I’m up near the stars
looking down from above.
Remember our love
in a moment you’ll see
that I’m still here beside you
when you’re thinking of me.
