Thomas James Luna

Thomas “Tommy” James Luna, age 47 of Warren, gained his wings on June 11, 2023.

Tommy was born on October 31, 1975 to beloved parents Michael and Betty Luna in Detroit, Michigan.  From the day he entered this world, Tommy made it a better place to be in.  He was known by all for his giving nature, and always was there with a helping hand.  Tommy graduated from Warren Lincoln High School.  In 1994, he met the love of his life and future bride, Dana while she was working at her first co-op job.  It would be many years later when Tommy and Dana would reconnect, instantly fall in love all over again and marry on April 4, 2012.  Tommy’s world was his family.  He was the absolute best husband and best father to his beloved children; Brendon, Rylan and Braxton.  The title of “Dad” was one he cherished most and he never missed a single sports competition, cheer competition or gymnastics event.  Tommy was a hardworking provider and protector for his family.  For many years, Tommy worked as a commercial install plumber and was known by all for this ability to fix anything.  Tommy’s kind spirit and giving heart will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. 

Soulmate and husband of Dana Luna; proud father of Brendon Lee, Rylan Luna and Braxton Luna; Best brother of Mike Luna, Fred (Janet) Luna and Becky (Chris) West.  Tom is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and numerous friends.

Tommy is preceded in passing by his parents Michael and Betty Luna.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, June 22 from 2-8 PM with a Celebration of Life service at 7 PM.
