Thomas Bruening Obituary

Thomas Raymond Bruening, age 72, passed away on January 20, 2024. Thomas (Tom) was born to Frank (“Bud”) and Betty (Davidson) Bruening on February 25, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan. Tom was a 33 yr Michigan Bell O9 repair retiree. Tom's love for his family came first. He enjoyed camping with his family, playing golf and was an avid Michigan Wolverine fan. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

 

Devoted husband to Judith; loving father to Jennifer (Rusty) Bruening, Kristi Lane, and Mary (Damon) Williams; beloved brother to Sandy Afetian and Frank (Deb) Bruening and brother-in-law to Kathleen (Dan) O'Neill, Peter (Maura) Dewan and Patricia (Don) Kenny ; proud Papa to Gary (Rachel) Lane, Sheldon (Kelsey) Williams. Devin Lane, Lexton Williams, Kara Aranyos; cherished great-grandfather to Addilynn Williams, Ariana Williams, Brooklyn Lane; loving Uncle to many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. 

Joined in Heaven by his loving parents Bud and Betty , and niece Cheryl O'Connor.
