Theresa Lillian Switniak

Theresa Lillian Switniak, a beloved wife, mother, and friend, has left us at the age of 66 on August 3, 2024. Born in Toronto, Canada, on September 28, 1957, to loving parents John and Mary Harnett, she lived a vibrant and joyous life. Theresa married the love of her life, Richard Switniak, and together they raised four children.

Known for her love of games like cards, pool, and darts, Theresa had a zest for life and was always the life of the party. Her job as a waitress brought her great joy, and she never wanted to retire, always enjoying working and socializing with the customers. She found solace in reading and had a particular fondness for watching Guy Fieri on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives.

Theresa cherished family gatherings and never missed an opportunity to celebrate with loved ones. She had a flair for dressing up for holidays, preparing elaborate dinners, and savored being in the company of her family. An adventurous spirit, she had a fear of missing out and preferred to be out and about rather than staying at home.

Theresa's absence will be deeply felt, but her spirit and love will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in peace, knowing she was dearly cherished by many.

Cherished wife of Rick; adored mother to Christy (late Michael), Ashley (Vincent), Alexandra (Johnathan), and Adam; beloved sister to Katherine (Michael); proud grandmother to Adriana, Lillian, Isla, Nora, and Natalia; wonderful sister-in-law to Chuck, Christine, Dennis (Catherine), and Douglas (Catherine); loved aunt to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and her great great nephew.

Joined in Heaven by her loving parents, John and Mary, siblings John, James, Helen, and Michael (Pickles).
