Thelma May Lovelace passed away peacefully on June, 25 2023. She was born on April 17th, 1942 to Andrew and Wattie Fuller in Grundy, Virginia. In her life, she raised four wonderful children with Naaman Day. She moved to Michigan in the mid eighties to be near her Mom and siblings and there met and married the late Glen Lovelace. Thelma loved to be outside; she greatly enjoyed tending to her gardens, and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. One of her greatest joys in life was listening to country music. Her favorite artist to listen to was Merle Haggard. Thelma enjoyed strumming on her guitar, and playing songs. She will forever be remembered for her selflessness, her kindness, a heart that loved unconditionally, feistiness and her sense of humor. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Beloved mother of Debra (John) Oswald, Glen Day, Hobie Day, and Pernell Day; Step children Tammy, Greg and Tonya Lovelace; Loving sister Ora (Bob) Weed, and brother Ralph (Tammy) Fuller; proud Grandmother of Shannan (TJ) Klein, Alan (Amanda) Day, and Jonathan Day; cherished Great-Grandmother of Emma Day and Felicity Day. Thelma is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Joined in Heaven by her parents, Andrew and Wattie, husbands Naaman Day, Glen Lovelace, and siblings Jean Dulworth, Mary Fuller, Clyde Fuller, and Earl Fuller and step son Glen Lovelace Jr.
