Terry Lange Obituary

Terry E Lange, a beloved husband, devoted father, and cherished family man, peacefully passed away on November 29, 2023, at the age of 77. Born on August 2, 1946, in Detroit to loving parents Ralph and Dorothy Lange, Terry was known for his warm heart, compassionate nature, and unwavering commitment to his loved ones. He retired at age 60 from preowned car management.

Terry's journey in life was marked by love, joy, and a deep appreciation for the simple pleasures it had to offer. At the age of 14, he found his soulmate in Linda, whom he lovingly married at age 20. Before Linda’s passing they were married for for 55 years. Together, they raised three wonderful children, creating a home filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories. As a couple Terry and Linda embarked on many memorable adventures together. Traveling several times to Aruba and Las Vegas.  Their favorite vacation was an Alaskan Cruise. Terry had a fondness for nice cars and nature, particularly Bald Eagles.

A true family man at heart, Terry dedicated his time and energy to nurturing a bond that would stand the test of time. He found immense joy in spending quality time with his family, sharing stories, and imparting wisdom. Terry's patient and attentive nature made him an exceptional listener, making everyone feel heard and valued in his presence.

In his leisure time, Terry found excitement in a bit of friendly gambling, earning him the nickname "Dimes" after a particularly lucrative win in Las Vegas. However, more than any material winnings, it was the camaraderie and camaraderie shared with those he loved that brought him the greatest joy.

Terry possessed a passion for football that never wavered throughout his life. He was renowned for his encyclopedic knowledge of football statistics. He spent countless hours immersed in the game, always keeping up with the latest news and developments.

While Terry enjoyed celebrating life's achievements with a well-deserved cocktail, he was highly regarded for his gentlemanly demeanor and impeccable sense of style. A connoisseur of fine dining, he reveled in the chance to dress up and relish in the elegance of each decade's fashion trends.

Terry will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His loss leaves a void that can never be filled, but his memory will continue to inspire and uplift those whose lives he touched.
