Sylvia Ciolino

Sylvia Ciolino (Russo), age 86, passed away peacefully January 28, 2021. She was born February 9, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan to Francesco and Mary. In 1957 she married the love of her life, Dominick Ciolino. They met as part of the bridal party for her cousin, Dolly Tedesco.

She always wore an angel pin on her right lapel. It was important for her to share this symbol of faith with all of those around her. Dominick and Sylvia raised their children in the Catholic faith with unconditional love and adoration.

For many years Sylvia loved her work as a hairdresser, especially building relationships with her beloved clients.

Throughout her life Sylvia loved to dance, especially the Jitterbug.

Sylvia is proceeded by her siblings Pete, Sam, Carmello, Tony, Joe and Jaqueline. She is survived by her children Anthony (Karen), Rosann (Jerry), Grayce Mary (Harvey), Teresa (Kenny), and Gina (Tim), and grandchildren Frank (Jennifer), Phil, Sarah (Colin), Kate (Alex), Marc (Amanda), Angela, Kevin, Blaine (Jen), Dominic and Maria (Sean). In addition she is survived by seven great grandchildren. All of these family members she loved dearly.

Please join us celebrating her life Tuesday, February 2, 2021, between 3:00 p.m. — 7:00 p.m. at Lee Elena Funeral Home, 46530 Romeo Plank Rd, Macomb, MI 48044. Funeral service, Wednesday at St. Therese of Lisieux at 10:00 a.m., instate 9:30 a.m.
