Suzanne Dritsan, age 89, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025.
She was the beloved wife of the late Chris Dritsan and the cherished mother of Gary (Denise) Richards, Jim (Vernette) Richards, Al Richards, Tom (Melissa) Richards, and the late Cheryl Plegue. Loving grandmother of 11: Katie Plegue, Courtney (Joel) Ruggero, Bryan Plegue, Christina (Andrew) Wiles, Ashley Richards, Alex Gallanis, Aaron Richards, Joshua Richards, Laura Richards, Rachel Richards, and Jack Richards. Proud great-grandmother of four: Elliot, Evelyn and Hudson Ruggero, and William Wiles.
Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents, James and Alma Mangan; her sister, Marian Senn; and her brother, Kenneth Mangan.
A life-long parishioner, choir member, and frequent featured soloist at First United Methodist Church of St. Clair Shores, Suzanne shared her gift of music with grace and joy. She also served as Past President of the St. Clair Shores Civic Chorus, where her leadership and love of music left a lasting mark on the community.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Suzanne’s memory.
Her life was a testament to the power of love, music, and family, and she will be remembered always for the joy she brought to those who knew her.
A visitation will be held for Suzanne at Lee-Ellena Funeral Home on October 4th, from 9:30am until 12:00pm.
Following visitation, the funeral service will begin at 12:00pm
