Susan Nichter Obituary

Susan Marie Nichter, 58, of Macomb, passed away unexpectedly on November 9, 2020 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, MI. She was born June 28th, 1962 in Hamtramck to Joan (Bruzdewicz) and Richard Botwin. She was married to Michael Nichter on June 18, 1986. She is survived by both of her parents and her husband.

She is also survived by her two sons, Chad (Karrie) Nichter and Todd (Alicia) Nichter; her best friend and daughter, Leigha Nichter; one granddaughter, Brielle Nichter; two brothers, Steven (Charlene) Botwin, Michael (Vicky) Botwin; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and in-laws.

Susan was a vibrant bright light for all of her family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with the people she loved and being present in every moment. She loved to host parties, holidays, special occasions, and get togethers'. She was a perfectionist and it showed with anything she put her time into. She was entirely selfless and humble; she lived her life for her family. Putting her time and effort into making someone else’s day always took priority over her own self-care. Susan is also well known for her ability to mix a perfect long island up for any and all of her guests.

A memorial service will be held for Susan at a later date. More information will be provided once a date is selected.
