Steven Sanda

Steven Sanda, age 57, passed away on April 15, 2023. 

Steven was born to Joseph and Dorothy Sanda on June 15, 1965 in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Steven was a wonderful man, who loved spending time with his family. He had a love for cooking; his favorite was to grill in the yard or bake mountains of spaghetti. On special occasions, Steven enjoyed creating a breakfast buffet for his family.

Steven enjoyed being outdoors and loving all it had to offer. Hunting, fishing, and telling funny stories by the fire were some of his favorite pastimes. Steven liked spending time with his brothers and sisters, and being with his grandchildren. His backyard was always available to his family for parties, where Steven would enjoy blasting his music, grilling, and playing pinocle.

Steven took great pride in his work, both professional and pleasure. He was a well respected and loved supervisor. He also had a love for crafting, building his own arbor for his backyard, and a pergola for his daughter’s wedding. Steven also enjoyed crafting tables, shelves, the occasional corn hole set, and other small projects. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.  

Loved husband to Liz; proud father to Randy (Sarah), Vanessa, Nick, Ryan, and Michelle; cherished brother to Joe (Tina), Dave (Mary), Carolyn (Keith), Sue (Greg), John (Erin), Sharon (Pat); first wife and longtime friend Marianne; beloved grandfather to Gavin and Jin. 

Joined in Heaven by his loving parents Joseph and Dorothy, and his brother Kevin.
