On the day of April 1, 2024, we bid goodbye to the vibrant and humorous Spencer Wilson Briney, aged 85. He graced this world on November 22, 1938, to Ottis and Helen Briney. Spencer found his lifelong partner in Sharon, with who he shared 36 years with, being married for 33 years. . Graduating from Waterford High School in 1957, he embarked on a 21-year journey at Chrysler, retiring on April 30, 1993. Spencer's zest for life led him to pursue a bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University, a testament to his enduring thirst for knowledge.
Known for his love of golf, woodworking, and adventurous off-roading escapades in his beloved Jeep in the mountains of Arizona, Spencer brought laughter and joy to all who knew him. His passion for woodworking RV tables showcased his creativity and meticulous nature, while his penchant for sharing jokes and witty anecdotes brightened even the gloomiest of days.
Throughout ten delightful winters spent in Casa Grande, Arizona and 10 years in Port Charlotte, Florida, Spencer's spirit of adventure and humor remained unwavering, leaving an indelible mark on all who crossed his path. The world is undoubtedly a more cheerful place because of his contagious laughter and lighthearted demeanor.
Cherished husband of Sharon; loved father to Kevin (Gail), Kathleen (Rich), and Christopher; beloved brother to Sandra (late Richard); proud grandfather to Kevin, Deana, Brian, Lyndsey, Madison, and Lucas; loving great-grandfather to 11 great-grandchildren.
Joined in Heaven by his loving parents, Ottis and Helen, and brother Craig.
