Obituary

Si-Ying “Papa Joe” Cheung passed away peacefully on Friday, February 3, 2023.

 Si-Ying was born on October 2, 1933, to Fung Fong Cheung and Tam Kam Tong in Taishan, China where he was the oldest of five children. He married his wife Yu Sau Yu on November 23, 1959 and raised three children. Loving father of Edward (Hiu Ho), Sandy (Paul) Choi and Richard (Stephanie). Dear grandfather of Brenda, Tommy, Matthew, Samantha, Tyler, Brandon, and Jacob. Papa Joe enjoyed visiting with friends, coffee and Chinese movies/opera. He is known for his kindness and heart of gold who would do anything to help anyone. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Visitation to take place on Wednesday, February 8 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Funeral service on Thursday, February 9 at the funeral home. Instate, or gathering time, 10:00 AM. Service at 11:30 AM. Procession to Cadillac Memorial Gardens East for burial to follow.
