It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sherri Bracco, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, who left this world too soon. Sherri was a remarkable woman, cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her. She was born to Thom and Karen Ruthenberg, and she shared a special bond with her two sisters, Christine and Laura. Guided by the enduring love of her departed mother, Sherri walked through life with a heart made strong by memory, drawing from it an extraordinary inner strength to serve as the devoted, steady compass for her aging father.
Sherri is survived by her devoted husband, Rob, and her beloved daughter, Lia Bracco, who looked up to her as a shining example of strength and kindness. A woman of many passions, Sherri had an insatiable love for reading, particularly enjoying books that delved into history. She could often be found watching her favorite TV shows or immersing herself in the whimsical world of Tim Burton films, especially during her favorite holiday, Halloween.
In the summer, Sherri found her joy in relaxing on the deck with Rob, embracing the warmth of the sun and the gentle sway of the seasons. Known for her gentle spirit and an enormous heart, she was the sweetest and kindest person many ever encountered. Always thinking of others, she brightened the lives of those around her with her selflessness and compassion.
Sherri’s funeral services will be held on Wednesday February 18th, where family and friends will gather to celebrate her beautiful life and the cherished memories they shared. We invite all who knew Sherri to join us as we find comfort in each other and honor the legacy of a truly extraordinary woman.
Rest in peace, dear Sherri. You will be missed dearly but never forgotten.
