Sharon Rose Carley, age 79, passed away surrounded by love on August 27, 2022.
Sharon was born to Arthur J. Oswald Jr. (Ozzie) and his wife Dorothy on May 16, 1943, in East Detroit. She married the love of her life, Michael B. Carley, on November 13, 1964, and together they raised 3 wonderful sons. Sharon was Queen Memaw of her Red Hat Society group, enjoyed cooking for her family (she always had people over to feed them), and going to the casino. She found joy doing arts and crafts, going boating, and swimming at the YMCA. Sharon dearly loved her grandchildren, spending time in her garden, and being with her dogs, Buddy and Pepsi. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Beloved wife of Michel B. Carley; loved mother of Michael (Michelle), David (Brenda), and Jeffrey; devoted grandmother of Tyler, Jenna, Jonathan, Jordan, and William; cherished sister of Judy, Terry, and Arthur III. Cherished aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews.
