Rosemary DeYonker-Turchin

Rosemary DeYonker-Turchin, age 97 of Rochester Mi, passed away on December 26th, 2021.

Rosemary was born on November 20,1924 in Kingston Ontario. At 8 months old she moved to the US. Growing up in Detroit Rosemary kept close to the lifelong friends she met in school. At 24 she married her beloved husband Robert DeYonker (Bob). Together they were blessed with 5 children over their almost 50 years of marriage. Raising her 3 girls Donna, Carol, Mary, and 2 boys Bob and Dan, family meant everything to her. Rosemary was a proud grandmother to 10 grandchildren Paula, Pamela, Paul, Benson, Adam, Andre, Mark, Cari, Danielle, Joseph, Emily, Christopher and Jonathan. 9 great grandchildren Korey, Dominic,Gage, Noah, Sarah, Allison, Chloe, Cailyn, and 3 great-great grandchildren Selina, Ethen, Isabella. She loved to watch the Tigers games, camping with the family, being with her many friends, playing cards and traveling. After her beloved Bob’s passing, Rosemary was remarried to her late loving husband Albert Turchin for 10 years. She then adopted another family to love with 4 stepdaughters Josephine, Mary Ellen, Patricia, Janet, 4 step grandchildren and 6 great step grandchildren. Rosemary’s smile could light up any room, but she was best known for her kind and loving spirit.
