Rose Marie Vitale, aged 85, peacefully departed this world surrounded by her family, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever warm the hearts of those who knew her.
Born on May 17, 1939, in Allen Park, Michigan, Rose Marie was welcomed by her loving parents, Joseph and Vita Criscenti, into a bustling household with six siblings. Growing up in Dearborn, she learned the value of family early on and treasured the bonds she shared with her siblings throughout her life.
It was at a Catholic church dance where fate intervened and Rose Marie met the love of her life, Anthony "Tony" Vitale. Their eyes locked across the room, and in that instant, she knew he was the one she had been waiting for. Their union on February 17, 1962, at Saint Alphonsus Catholic Church in Dearborn, marked the beginning of a lifelong partnership filled with unwavering love and dedication to each other and their family.
Together, Rose Marie and Tony raised two beautiful children, Anthony and Karen. Family was always at the core of Rose Marie's being, and she took great pleasure in the time spent with her loved ones. Their Sunday gatherings at her mother's home in Dearborn were moments she treasured, where the family would come together to share a delicious meal and create lasting memories. This tradition was upheld by Rose Marie for many years, and has now been passed down to her daughter Karen.
Rose Marie's years working as a secretary for the Warren Consolidated School Systems were a testament to her dedication and kindness, endearing her to both the children she interacted with and her colleagues.
A lover of puzzles, gardening, traveling, and the simple beauty of watching clouds drift by, Rose Marie found joy in life's small pleasures. Her gentle spirit and unwavering love will be dearly missed by all those who were fortunate enough to know her.
