With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Stone, age 57, who left this world far too soon. Born on March 18, 1968, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Robert later made his home in Michigan, where he built a life full of love, laughter, and meaningful connections with those lucky enough to know him.
Robert was a devoted husband, a proud father, a loyal brother, and a true friend. For over 25 years, he worked as a skilled design engineer, but his greatest joy came from his family and his passion for classic cars. A true car enthusiast, Robert not only collected hot rods but poured his heart into working on them. Whether he was under the hood or cruising down the road, he was at peace when surrounded by the things he loved most.
His passion for cars wasn’t just a hobby—it became a bond he shared with his daughter, Lindsey. Her choice to pursue a career in classic car restoration was a source of deep pride for Robert. He stood beside her every step of the way, cheering her on as her biggest fan, and never missing a moment to tell her just how proud he was.
On May 13, 1995, Robert married his beloved wife, Diana, in their hometown of Milwaukee. Their marriage was a beautiful partnership built on love, mutual respect, and years of laughter and memories. Diana was the light of his life, and together they created a home where family always came first.
Robert had a personality that could fill a room. He was known as the life of the party—charming, hilarious, and full of warmth. His bright, bold presence drew people to him effortlessly, and his sense of humor left a lasting impression on everyone he met. To know him was to feel welcomed, uplifted, and loved.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert, and Irene; his nephew Brandon.
He is survived by his loving wife Diana; his brother Eric, his cherished daughter Lindsey and her fiancé Logan, along with his niece Skylar; and his sister-in-law Mandy.
Robert’s memory will forever be carried in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. His spirit lives on in the stories we share, the laughter he inspired, and the roar of every engine on the open road.
