Raymond “Ray’ Ignatowski, age 76, passed away on February 12, 2023.
Ray was born to Stanley and Irene Ignatowski on April 1, 1946 in Detroit. Ray met the love of his life. Sheryl, and the two were married on September 29, 1979 at Transfiguration Church in Detroit, and together they raised 3 wonderful children. Ray was a loving man; he loved being with his grandchildren, dog, Izzy, and his grandpups Teddy, Penny, and Chip. He enjoyed doing puzzles, watching Hallmark movies, listening to old time radio, and having a good time. Ray liked to build ships, play games on his computer, and have a glass of wine. Ray, also loved to travel to Traverse City, exploring and tasting the many wineries. Especially at Black Star Farms where he was a club member of. He was the best cook; he never made anything the same twice, but it was always an amazing meal. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Devoted husband to Sheryl; loved father to Scott (Kathy), Candace (Daniel), and Christopher (Emily); beloved brother to Alfred (Judy); proud grandfather to Kylie, Julia, Maxton, Logan, and Mallory.
Joined in heaven by his loving parents, Stanley and Irene, and his sister Betty.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Rays name to the American Heart Asscociation
