Patrick Alan Taylor, age 59, passed away on December 14, 2023.

Born on February 3, 1964, in Pontiac, Michigan, Pat was the cherished son of Raymond and Pearl Taylor. Alongside his siblings, Pat was raised in Southfield, Michigan, where he developed a strong work ethic and a deep sense of loyalty to his loved ones.

After graduating from Southfield-Lathrup High School in 1984, Pat pursued a career as an automotive technician. His dedication and skill in the field earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike. Pat's meticulous workmanship and attention to detail served as a testament to his unwavering commitment to his craft.

In 1991, destiny intervened when Pat crossed paths with the love of his life, Barbara Meshinski, on a blind date. Their connection was instantaneous and undeniable. They would marry in 1992, embarking on a beautiful journey filled with love, laughter, and shared dreams. Together, they were blessed with two wonderful sons, Patrick and Kristopher, who brought immense joy and fulfillment to their lives.

Although Pat was known for his industrious nature and dedicated work ethic, his true passions extended beyond the confines of his profession. Pat found solace in the beauty of nature and was an avid outdoorsman. He would spend hours hunting on his family's property in Harrison, Michigan, captivated by the tranquility of the wilderness. His love for adventure also extended to riding ATVs and dirt biking in his younger years. Additionally, Pat was an avid gun collector, appreciating the craftsmanship and history behind each piece he acquired.

Pat will be remembered for his kind heart, his generous spirit, and his unwavering love for his family. He had an infectious laugh that brightened any room, and his warm smile would instantly put others at ease. Pat's compassionate nature and willingness to lend a helping hand will forever leave an indelible mark on the lives of those he touched.

Patrick Alan Taylor leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever live in the hearts of his beloved wife, Barbara, his sons Patrick and Kristopher, his mother Pearl, and his siblings Ray (Laura), Roy, Ronnie (Sonja), Patricia (Rob), Paul, and Pearl (Victor), and dearest best friend of Brian Daley. Pat is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Pat is preceded in passing by his loving father Raymond.

His passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but his legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.
