Patrick James Mucci

Patrick James Mucci, age 73 of Macomb, passed away on December 3, 2020.

Patrick was born on March 28, 1947 to Patrick and Rose Mucci. He grew up in East Detroit and graduated from East Detroit High School. He honorably served in the U.S. Army for the Army Mapping Service, Washington D.C. He was a self-made entrepreneur who owned and operated many businesses through the years, including multiple Little Caesars franchises. His heart and soul live on in his flagship business of 46 years, P&D Hobby Shop.

He had a significant other, Dianne and three children with his previous wife, Debbie; Bobbi, Stacey, and Jimmy.

He was a die-hard Detroit Red Wings and Tigers fan, and he loved watching the March Madness college basketball tournament.   

He worked a lot, yet always made time for friends and family, like his annual fishing trips to Ludington, model railroad shows, and never missed a family gathering. Everywhere he went he made people smile.

Loving father of Barbara "Bobbi" (Tim) Mucci-Sollie of Goodrich, MI, Stacey Mucci (John) Koch of Springboro, OH, and James Patrick (Karessa) Mucci of Macomb, MI; beloved grandfather of Brent Patrick-Mucci Sollie, Will Mucci Sollie, Kaylee Dawn Koch, John Patrick Koch, Jeffrey Donald Koch, and Mischa Rose Mucci; dear brother of Julie Hardy, Virginia "Ginny" Sullivan, Jackie (Tom) Keat, and Geraldine "Dina" (Joe) Martucci; dear significant other Dianne Tas and her daughter Ashley Nelson; dear friend, mother to his children, and previous wife Debra J Summers

Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Rose Mucci.

Patrick is also survived by many extended loved ones and friends.

He will be deeply missed.
