Patricia Ann Watycha, age 86, passed away on March 6, 2022 surrounded by the love of her family.
Patricia was born on February 27, 1936 to George and Vera McFarland in Waukegan, Illinois. Patricia was one of nine children, and came from a very loving and cherished family. Patricia would make the move to Michigan when she met her first husband, Gordon Giganic, while he was stationed in Chicago when he was in the Coast Guard. They would marry, and together raised six beloved children; James, Julie, Janet, Jill, Joseph, and John. Patricia was a wonderful mother, and was so overjoyed to become a grandmother and great-grandmother later in her life. Patricia would go on to meet and marry the love of her life, Michael Watycha. She would become the loving stepmother of Terri, John, and Randy. In Patricia’s free time, she loved to solve jigsaw puzzles, play games, craft, and earlier in her life loved to roller skate and play baseball. However, the most important part of her life was her family, and the cherished time she was able to spend with them.
Patricia’s quick wit, and loving spirit will be forever missed by all who loved her.
