Nicholas Thomas Stabile

Nicholas Thomas Stabile, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2023 at the age of 69. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Nick grew up in St. Clair Shores where he developed a deep love for family and friends.

As a young man, Nick proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy. After receiving an honorable discharge, he went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Central Michigan University. With knowledge and a strong work ethic, he embarked on a successful career that spanned many years.

On July 21, 1984, Nick married Brenda Scolaro at the Grosse Pointe United Methodist Church. Their union was one of unwavering love and support, and together they created a life filled with cherished memories.

Throughout his life, Nick had numerous passions and interests. He loved to cook, watch sports, and he was an avid reader. Later in his life, he enjoyed going on long neighborhood walks with his loyal four-legged friend, Kevin. In addition to his hobbies, Nick’s heart overflowed with love for his family as he took immense pride in his daughters and grandchildren watching them grow.

Although Nick will be deeply missed, his memory will live on through the lives he touched and the countless memories he created. His remarkable spirit will continue to inspire and guide those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating Nicholas Stabile’s life on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Lee-Ellena Funeral Home. Visitation from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Service at 7:00 PM. Forever rest in the loving arms of those who have gone before him, finding eternal peace and tranquility.

Beloved husband of Brenda Stabile; Loving father of Andrea (David) Busacca, Shelley (Tony) Suriano; Proud grandfather of Genevieve, David, and Wade; Dear brother of Donna, Thomas, and Mary; Stepbrother of Connie and Yolanda.

Nick was predeceased by his loving parents, Nick and Delores Stabile, and his beloved brother Michael.
