Nicholas Peter Iannotti, age 66, passed away on March 24, 2023 surrounded by the love of his family.
Nick was born on September 24, 1956 to loving parents Frank and Bridget Iannotti in Detroit, Michigan. He graduated from Holy Redeemer in Detroit and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Detroit Mercy. As a young man, he worked for a time at a fruit market where fate would bring him to meet the love of his life and future bride, Kathy. They would marry on April 7, 1979 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Hazel Park surrounded by their loved ones. Together, Nick and Kathy would raise three beloved girls: Jennifer, Sara, and Kristin. Family meant everything to Nick, and he was so overjoyed to become a father and later a grandfather and great-grandfather. Nick worked for Kroger and retired in 2021 after forty-four dedicated years. In his free time, Nick loved to travel with his family (Las Vegas and Traverse City being some of his favorites), summertime, grilling, caring for his pool, and collecting anything eagles. However, the most important thing to Nick was his family and the time he was able to spend with them.
Nick will be forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
Beloved husband of Kathy Iannotti; cherished father of Sara (Anthony) Locano, and Kristin Iannotti; proud grandfather of Alec, Carley, Alyssa, and Nathan; loved great-grandfather of Ariella, and Jaycee; dear brother of Bridget Guerra, Frank Iannotti, Cynthia (Liga) Lemus, and Giovanni (Pat) Iannotti.
