Nancy Ann Ireson

Nancy Ann Ireson, age 86, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2022.

Nancy was born on October 27, 1935 to Leslie and Lillie Carter in Detroit, Michigan. Nancy would go on to raise four children: Carrie, Alan, Pamela, and Scott. Nancy was a wonderful mother, and was so overjoyed to become a grandmother and great-grandmother later in her life. Nancy was always a hard worker, and worked for 20 years at Bon Secours Hospital as a housekeeper before retiring. Nancy looked forward to every spring, when she could plant her flowers and enjoy them all season long. She also loved to cook, and was known to make the best gravy. Nancy also enjoyed her mornings with Krispy Kream raspberry doughnuts and crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family Nancy will be forever remembered by all who loved her.

Beloved mother of Carrie (Anthony) Mancina, Alan Ireson, Pamela Ramirez, and Scott Ireson; proud grandmother of Aaron, Adam (Melanie), Andrew (Christina), Adrian, Jamie, and Amy; loving great-grandmother of Madeleine, Jack, Calina, Declan, Weston, and Emerson. Nancy is also survived by dear nieces and nephews.

Nancy joins in heaven with her parents Leslie and Lillie Carter, and sisters Valerie, and Diane.

Visitation to take place on Sunday, August 7 from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM, with a funeral service at 6:00 PM.

Entombment to take place on Monday, August 8 at Christian Memorial Cemetery at 10:00 AM.
