Michael Schmitt, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on January 30, 2025, at the age of 60. Born on March 14, 1964, Michael lived a life filled with love, kindness, and a strong work ethic.
For most of his life, Michael worked as a laser cutter, dedicating himself to his craft until his retirement. However, his true passions lay in the time he spent with his loved ones and the joy he found in helping others. Michael loved nothing more than fishing, making new friends, and spending time with his family.
Survived by his loving wife, Julie, whom he married on August 21, 1984, Michael is also remembered by his two children, Randi and Danielle (Steven) Bradley; his sister, Lisa; and his brother, Tommy. He was a proud grandfather to Silas. Michael was predeceased by his parents, Francis and Thomas, as well as his siblings, David and Debbie.
Michael's selfless nature and willingness to help those in need inspired countless people throughout his life. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched and the memories he created with his loved ones.
Rest in peace, Michael. Your love, kindness, and generosity will never be forgotten.
