Michael Sabatini

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Sabatini, who departed this life on June 9, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on December 20, 1933, Michael was a beloved husband and a cherished member of his community. He is survived by his devoted spouse, Barbara Sabatini; loving children, Terry (Tina) Sabatini, Sheri (Phil) Culbert, Brian (Linda) Sabatini, Mark (Sandra) Wilkins, Scott Wilkins (Regina Kinnane) and Deanna Wilkins; proud grandfather to: Codey, Casey, Christina, Eric, Joe, Shannon, Brandon, Brooke, Keenan, Cole, Tim, Stephanie, Matthew, Josh, Joe, Aime, Billy and John. Great-Grandfather to 22 Great-Grandchildren; Brother to, Jimmy Sabatini, Ralph Sabatini and Richard Sabatini.  

He was predeceased by his children, Michael Sabatini and Dawn Eskew and brother, Albert Sabatini. 
 
Michael was a man of many passions, most notably his love for dining out and exploring the culinary treasures offered by local establishments. He found joy in sharing memorable meals and cherished moments with family and friends. His generous spirit and warm smile touched the lives of many. 
 
In addition to his culinary adventures, Michael was an active member of the American Legion Post 4, where he contributed to the community and honored those who served. His dedication to camaraderie and service was a testament to his character and the values he held dear. 
 
Funeral services to celebrate Michael's extraordinary life will be held on June 11, 2025, at 7:00 PM at Lee-Ellena Funeral Home, 46530 Romeo Plank, Macomb, MI 48044. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm.  Friends and family are invited to gather to honor his memory, share stories, and reflect on the impact he had on all who knew him.  
 
In this time of sorrow, we find comfort in the legacy he leaves behind—a life well-lived, filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable experiences. Michael will be greatly missed by all who know him.
