Melissa Renee Qeraxhiu

Melissa Renee Qeraxhiu, a cherished wife, devoted mother, and beloved friend, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2024, at the age of 45 in Chesterfield. Born on June 27, 1979, to Lawrence and Pamela Triggs in Warren, Michigan, Melissa's life was a tapestry of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.

Growing up in Clinton Township and graduating from Clintondale High School in 1997, Melissa's vibrant spirit and zest for life captivated all who knew her. A chance encounter at work introduced her to Ervin Qeraxhiu, the love of her life, whom she married in 2008. Together, they were blessed with two wonderful children, Julian and Abby, who were the light of Melissa's life.

Melissa's passion for living life to the fullest was contagious, always seeking adventure and creating treasured memories with her loved ones. She found her bliss out on the water, cruising on a boat with good friends, drinks in hand, and music filling the air.

Melissa will be forever loved and remembered by all who had the honor to know and love her.

Beloved wife of Ervin Qeraxhiu; loving mother of Julian and Abby; cherished daughter of Lawrence and Pamela Triggs; dear sister of Dana (Scott) Meyers; loved daughter in law of Suzana and Fuat Qeraxhiu; dearest sister in law of Tani (Erjoma) Qeraxhiu. Melissa is also survived by many loving family, and numerous friends.

A celebration of Melissa’s incredible life will be held at a later date.
