Melissa April Corsi

Melissa April Corsi, age 43 of Macomb Twp., gained her wings on August 14, 2023.

Melissa was born on March 23, 1980 to parents Brian and Kimberly in Detroit, Michigan. From the day she was born, Melissa made this world a better and brighter place because she was apart of it. Melissa’s love for her family and friends knew no bounds. She was fun loving, caring, and a true joy to be around. Melissa married the love of her life, and soulmate, Joshua Corsi on July 14, 2005 in an intimate celebration. Together, they would raise their four children; Dakota, Joshua, Caleb, and Savannah. Melissa loved being a mom, and was so overjoyed to become a grandmother to her dear granddaughter Danielle. Melissa was a fantastic cook and baker, regularly making delicious meals and treats for her family and friends. Melissa loved music, especially 80’s, and went to many memorable concerts with her husband Josh throughout the years. Melissa also had a passion for decorating for the holidays, especially Halloween. Melissa will be forever remembered and loved by all who knew her.

Beloved wife of Joshua Corsi; loving mother of Dakota Alan Conners, Joshua Brian Conners, Caleb Cotton Corsi, and Savannah Rainstorm Corsi; proud grandmother of Danielle Aleah Conners; loved daughter of Kimberly Morrison; cherished sister of Allison (Chris) Pawelczyk, and Candace Harmon; dearest god-mother of Sierra Boerder. Melissa is also survived by many loving family and friends.

Melissa is preceded in passing by her father Brian Conners.

Visitation to take place on Friday, August 18 from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Funeral service on Saturday, August 19 at Immanuel Lutheran Church on 21 Mile and Romeo Plank. Instate, or gathering time, 9:30 AM. Service at 10:00 AM. Burial immediately afterwards at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
