Maurice Hart

On July 30, 2020, Maurice Hart of Shelby Township, MI passed peacefully in his home with his loved ones by his side, after battling pancreatic cancer for ten months. He was 57 years old. Maurice Hart was born on August 10, 1962 in Preston, England to Jean and Harry Hart. Maurice moved to the US to pursue his passion for automotive engineering and to start a family.  

Maurice was preceded in death by his father Harry. He is survived by his loving wife Tina, his mother Jean, his three children Maurice, Holly, and Heather, his two stepchildren Bernadette and Patrick, and his two grandsons Kilo and Finn. 

Maurice was a design engineer by trade, and a kind, loving, and dedicated man by nature. He enjoyed painting, gardening, building model planes, and being outdoors. Maurice always put his family and loved ones before himself. His positive attitude, genuine heart, and brightly colored hair drew people close to him. Maurice was authentic and always had a solution for any problem. His happiness was contagious, and it made him an irreplaceable husband, father, and grandfather.

Maurice was strong, quietly confident, and battled pancreatic cancer head on without question. Maurice showed strength, courage, and hope through every step of the way. He will always be remembered as our fearless warrior. Purple is the color of choice to promote awareness of pancreatic cancer. Please show your support by wearing purple and through the gift of purple flowers if possible. The world will never forget Maurice Hart.  
 

A funeral viewing will be held at Lee-Ellena Funeral Home in Macomb Township, MI on August 5, 2020 from 3-8pm and August 6, 2020 from 4-8pm. A Celebration of Life Luncheon will take place on August 7, 2020 at 11am at the American Polish Century Club in Sterling Heights, MI.
