Mark Joseph Toepel, age 75 of Macomb, passed away on October 9, 2021 surrounded by the love of his family.
Mark was born on October 7, 1946 to Herman and Rita Toepel in Detroit, Michigan. As a young man, fate would bring him to meet the love of his life, and future bride, Sharon Pacler. They married on November 12, 1971 in Warren, Michigan at St. Dorothy’s Catholic Church. Together, Mark and Sharon would raise two beloved children: Jasen, and Lisa. Mark was a wonderful father, and was overjoyed to become a grandfather later in his life to his six dear grandchildren: Josh, Danielle, Annalise, Marissa, Wyatt, and Nolan. The most important thing in Mark’s life was his family and he would do anything for them. He was the most giving and loving family man and friend anyone could have asked for. His generosity, and down to earth nature made him easy to fall in love with. In his free time, Mark loved to watch his favorite teams (the Detroit Lions and Tigers) and cheer them on. Mark’s loving nature, and caring spirit will be missed by all who knew him.
Beloved husband for nearly 50 years to Sharon Toepel; cherished father of Jasen, and Lisa (Rick) VanAcker; proud grandpa of Josh, Danielle, Annalise, Marissa, Wyatt, and Nolan; dear brother of Tim (Dee) Toepel, Pat (Kathi) Toepel, David (Mariane) Toepel, Deb (Michael) Giroux, Karen Comfort, Rick (Mary) Toepel; loved brother-in-law of John (Cheryl) Pacler, Linda Shaw, David (Janet) Pacler, Janice (Mike) Tow, and Jerry Pacler. He is also survived by many dear nieces, nephews, friends, and family.
Mark joins in heaven his loving parents Herman and Rita Toepel, parent in laws John and Agnes Pacler, Susie Pittel, and Beverly Lambert.
