Marjorie J. Sanders, age 96 of Macomb, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2021 surrounded by the love of her family.
Marjorie was born on July 15, 1925 to Charles and Evalina McCann in Port Huron, Michigan. As a young woman, Marjorie met the love of her life, and future husband, Robert George Sanders. They quickly fell in love, and married on August 18, 1945 in Pontiac, Michigan. Together, Marjorie and Robert raised four beloved children; Linda, James, Carol, and Robert. Marjorie was a wonderful mother, and was so overjoyed to become a grandmother later in her life. Family always meant the world to Marjorie, and she cherished the time she was able to spend with them. She was the family support, always there to listen and give the best advise. She was a lifelong catholic, and her faith and church was very dear to her heart. In Marjorie’s free time, she loved to sew, bake (Especially her famous Italian cake!) and listen to her favorite country music.
Marjorie will be forever remembered by all who loved her.
Beloved mother of Linda Sanders, and James Sanders; cherished grandmother of 7, great-grandmother of 12, and great-great-grandmother of 2.
Marjorie is preceded in passing by her loving husband Robert Sanders, children Robert and Carol, and parents Charles and Evalina.
