Marino A. Rocca, age 79 of Macomb, passed away on October 7, 2021.
Marino was born on January 21, 1942, to Emilio and Sara Rocca in Italy. At the age of 13, Marino moved to the United States with his family. As a young man he would meet the love of his life, and future bride, Vera Cristofaro. They married in 1970 in a beautiful ceremony in Naples. Together, Marino and Vera raised four beloved children: Marie, Michelle, Mark, and Brian. He was a wonderful father and was so overjoyed to become a nonno later in life to his loving grandchildren: Antonio, Lina, Sienna, Silvana, Zach, Emily, and Michael. He worked as a supervisor at Chrysler before retiring after many dedicated years. Marino was known as a pasta aficionado who could make the best sauce. He also loved the beach and was a member of the Lazio Italian Club.
He will be forever remembered by all who loved him.
Beloved husband of Vera Rocca; cherished father of Marie, Michelle, Mark (Eryn), and Brian; proud nonno of Antonio, Lina, Sienna, Silvana, Zach, Emily, and Michael.
