Born on August 29, 1947, in Caruthersville, Missouri, Lynn was welcomed into the world with his twin brother Glynn to parents Cecil and Josephine Wattle. A hardworking and skilled individual, Lynn, during his youth, met Pamela Finley, who would later become his cherished wife. Serving his country  in the United States Army, Lynn returned home and married Pamela on April 4, 1970, at St. John Lutheran Church in New Haven. Together they shared a life filled with joy and love, raising two wonderful children, Tammy and Angela. Lynn's family was his pride and joy, and he found immense delight in his role as a grandfather, supporting his grandchildren in all their endeavors, especially in sporting events and fishing trips.

Lynn was a pattern maker for 45 years and retired from Atlas Tool and Die in 2010
He liked to develop things and learned to build homes from his father. Known as a dedicated craftsman and builder, Lynn alongside his brother Glynn, constructed several homes over the years, showcasing his skill and determination. He loved vacationing with his family, reveling in western movies, country music, and he enjoyed family dinners. Devoted to his faith, Lynn and Pamela were longstanding members of St. John Lutheran Church, finding solace and community within their congregation.
