Lucinda DeNault Obituary

Lucinda “Lynn” Marie DeNault, age 64 of Macomb Twp., danced her way into Jesus’s arms on December 19, 2020.

Lucinda was born on April 18, 1956 to Stanley and Barbara Cach in Detroit, Michigan. As a young woman, Lynn met the love of her life and future husband, Dennis William DeNault. Together they raised three beautiful daughters: Lisa Lynn, Melissa Ann, and Tammy Marie. Lynn also gained four wonderful stepchildren, whom she loved as her own: Karen, Dennis, Kathy, and Keith. During Lucinda and Dennis’s almost 43-year marriage, God blessed them with 16 amazing grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren filled Lucinda’s life with so much happiness. She loved them all more than she could ever put into words, and was so proud of them all. Lynn also adored her grand-fur baby Bella Boo. They loved singing the ‘I Love You’ song together every morning at breakfast.

One of Lynn’s greatest loves, besides her husband, was Elvis Presley. She always listened and danced to Elvis loud and proud. Her love of Elvis was something she passed down to her daughters and grandchildren. Lynn was also a highly creative writer, even having a poem published in a book. Lynn wrote many stories for her husband and daughters, and always had hilarious writings for the family at their Christmas Eve parties at their home (“Twas the night before Christmas at the DeNault house…”). Christmas as her absolute favorite time of the year. Lynn loved the beauty of the season, making her heart shine with joy. Lynn’s heart knew no bounds, and it was important to her to give to others during the Christmas season as well. She absolutely loved to celebrate the birth of her savior, Jesus Christ.

Lynn’s faith was incredibly important to her. She was devoted and fearless throughout her whole life. She loved Jesus and always prayed without ceasing for everyone she loved and anyone in their time of need.

One of her favorite people, through out Lynn’s life was her aunt Marguerite. She enjoyed many hours speaking with her aunt on the phone, sharing laughs and life’s ups and downs. Lynn had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to tell jokes to her friends and family. Lynn loved making others laugh.

She also had an incredible strength, and persevered with husband and best friend, Dennis by her side every step of every day,     through her long, hard and painful battle with the incurable disease Lymphedema.  She never let it stop her from being a positive and optimistic beam of light in the world.

She will be forever remembered and celebrated in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
