Louis Alan Martin, age 76, passed away on October 28, 2020.
Louis was born on March 1, 1944 to Dovie Goff in Silver Point, Tennessee. As a young boy, Louis moved with his family to Detroit, Michigan. Louis and Kathy married after two years of dating, and shared together 55 years of happiness. During that time, they raised four children: Gregory, Robert, Lynn, and Amy. For 29 years Louis worked for General Motors as a skilled tradesman before his retirement in 2003. In his free time, Louis had many hobbies like watching the Detroit Tigers and Lions, playing horseshoes, and trying his luck at some scratcher tickets and the casino.
Louis will be remembered for being a hardworking and loving father to his children, loyal husband, and proud grandpa to his grandchildren and great grandchild.
