Linda Christine Norton

Linda Christine Norton, age 70 of Washington Twp., passed away on January 27, 2023.

Linda was born on June 21, 1952 to Lars and Alice Ljungquist in Highland Park, Michigan. She was raised in Garden City, and would go on to meet the love of her life and future husband, David Norton, while attending the same high school. They quickly fell in love, and on May 1, 1971 Linda and David where married. Together they would raise three beloved children: Eric, Jeff and Lisa. Linda was a wonderful mother to her children, and was so overjoyed when she became and a grandmother and great-grandmother later in her life. Family meant the world to Linda, and she always made time for all their activities especially any of the grandkid’s sports events. For 25 years, Linda worked at Blue Cross Clue Shield of Michigan before retiring in 2012 after 25 dedicated years. In retirement, Linda enjoyed multiple traveling trips and cruises with her husband and family where they created memories that will last a lifetime. Linda was extremely giving and loving to all.

She will be loved and missed by all who knew her.

Beloved husband of David Norton; cherished mother of Eric (Colleen) Norton, Jeff (Marni) Norton, Lisa (Matthew) Kaluzny; proud grandmother of Jacob Norton, Kendall Norton, Taylor Norton, Kiana Collins, Ana Norton, Liam Norton, Kinley Norton, Dylan Kaluzny, and Landon Kaluzny; best great-grandmother of Sonny; and dear sister of Dale Youngquist. Linda is also survived by many loving family members and friends.

Linda is reunited with her parents Lars and Alice Ljungquist.

Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be announced in the spring.
