Linda Mary Lange

Linda Mary Lange, age 73 of Shelby Twp., passed away on November 3, 2020 surrounded by the love of her family.

Linda was born on December 8, 1946 to Charles and Vita Cassise in Detroit, Michigan. She was raised in Roseville and attended Sacred Heart for both middle and high school. It was at Sacred Heart that fate would allow her to cross paths with the boy she would later marry. Linda spotted Terry Lange while she was in 7th grade, proudly telling her friend that one day she would marry him.  Their young love bloomed, and after high school Linda and Terry wed. Together they raised three children: Jackie, Mark, and Kristie.  For many years, Linda worked at Adviser Source Newspaper and later the Macomb Daily. She enjoyed her time at the newspapers and retired in 2006 after many dedicated years. Linda will be forever remembered as a deeply devoted and fiercely loyal wife, mother, and nonna. Every day she lived her life to the fullest, and always to the beat of her own drum. Christmas was one of her favorite time of the year, not only to have her dear family around her but to also pass down their family traditions to her children and grandchildren (like making spedini together as a family).  She will be forever remembered.

Loving wife of 54 years of Terry Lange; dear mother of Jackie (Paul) Ferranti, Mark (Julie) Lange, and Kristie Lange; proud nonna of Vita (Francesco), Vincenzo, Justina (Jordan), Terry, Joseph, Annabelle, Linda Ana, Ivan, and great-granddaughter Mila; cherished sister of Nora, Charlette, and Donna.

Linda’s family deeply appreciated everyone sending their love during this difficult time. They understand if you may not feel comfortable attending the funeral during these tough times, and wish all their friends and family to stay safe and healthy.
