Linda (Dowdy) Betz
June 28, 1957 – December 17, 2024
Linda Betz, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home on December 17, 2024, at the age of 67, surrounded by loved ones.
A native of Michigan, Linda grew up in St. Clair Shores, where she met her loving husband, Joe. The couple built a life together, and Linda's love, patience, and nurturing spirit inspired growth in all those around her.
Linda's radiant smile and infectious laugh could light up a room, and her presence made everyone feel seen, heard, and loved. Her extraordinary ability to make everyday moments feel magical, coupled with her boundless love for her family, inspired countless lives, and her memory will be cherished forever.
Linda fought a courageous and enduring battle, facing each day with dignity, grace, and unwavering resilience. Though her journey was marked by challenges, her spirit remained unbroken, inspiring all who loved her with her remarkable strength and courage.
Linda is survived by her devoted husband, Joe; daughters Jamie Thompson and Kristin Camero; son-in-law Irving Thompson; and granddaughter Nina.
Though her passing leaves a void in the lives of those who loved her, Linda's legacy of love, laughter, and finding magic in the mundane will continue to inspire and guide her family and friends.
