**Obituary for Lillian Lee Sidick**
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lillian Lee Sidick (nee Hammers) on April 27, 2025, at the age of 83. Lillian was born on March 5, 1942, in Highland Park, Michigan, and grew up on Drexell Street alongside her beloved brothers, the late Sam Hammers and the late Melvin Hammers.
A proud alumnus of Saint Phillips School, Lillian pursued her passion for beauty and wellness by graduating from Dermaway Beauty College. She dedicated her professional life to serving her community, working at Leon's in Grosse Pointe and later at Eastland Elementary School in Roseville.
Lillian was a devoted wife to her husband, Chuck, with whom she shared an enduring love for 60 remarkable years. She found immense joy in the company of her children, family, and friends. Lillian thrived in life, taking pleasure in dancing, playing cards, Yahtzee, and dice. Her spirit remained resilient as she triumphantly battled multiple sclerosis for 35 years, living each day with grace and determination.
Lillian’s warmth and kindness touched the lives of those around her, and she will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Cherished wife of Charles E. (Chuck) Sidick; proud mother of Sherry Marie Sidick (Brandon Dahl) and Charles Lewis Sidick (Jeannette Wilson); loving grandmother to Liliana June Sidick and Charles John Sidick; dear friend to Cathy Esper and Gwen.
