Leslie "Bud" Ramlow

Leslie Edward (Bud) Ramlow, age 78, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2025.

Born on June 11, 1946, in Detroit, Michigan, Bud dedicated his life to serving his community. He proudly served as a Police Officer for the City of Detroit for 35 years before his well-earned retirement. 

In 1969, Bud married the love of his life, Katherine Ramlow, with whom he shared many wonderful years. He was a devoted father to his two sons, Matthew (Amanda) Ramlow and Jonathan (Rachel) Ramlow. Bud found immense joy in his role as a grandfather and cherished spending time with his eight beloved grandchildren: Jacob, Madeline, Aiden, Alexander, Anderson, Elena, Miles, and Theo.

Bud was known as a simple man who found contentment in life's quiet pleasures. He enjoyed spending time with family, doing crossword puzzles, and trying to know every answer to Jeopardy. Bud was a huge sports fan, and loved to watch the Red Wings, Tigers, and Wolverines. Football was Bud’s favorite sport to watch, as long as it was not the Lions.  Bud was one of a kind, and missed by all who knew him.
