Obituary

Leslie Joan McNab, age 65 of Shelby Twp., passed away on April 6, 2023.

Leslie was born on March 6, 1958 in Detroit, Michigan. She is survived by her beloved sister Mary Jo. For over 30 dedicated years, Leslie worked as a medical assistant for Dr. Stephen Dewitt’s medical practice. Leslie loved animals, owning many beloved dogs throughout her years (especially her Sophie and late cherished Bella). Leslie enjoyed being out in nature, and loved going on walks and on bike rides. She enjoyed her time swimming and crafting with friends at the Rochester OPC. On September 4, 2004, Leslie would marry the love of her life Robert McNab. They would go on to have 16 years of love and happiness together before Robert passed in 2020. Leslie will be forever remembered for her strong spirit, and kind and generous heart.

Beloved wife of the late Robert McNab; mother of Sarah (Brian) Newman; sister of Mary Jo Hardy; grandmother of Sebastien Newman; best friend of Ingrid Murphy; daughter of the late Lyston Hardy. Leslie is also survived by loving family and numerous dear friends.

Memorial Visitation to be held on Saturday April 15 from 1:00-4:00 PM, with a brief Service at 4:00 PM at Lee-Ellena Funeral Home.
