Leslie Holmes
She was a steadfast student of the Lord honoring the Catholic Church.
Her siblings knew her as a big sister and their hero. Barb knew growing up her sister was better than anybody else’s sister. She was always there for her family well into adulthood; her parents and all her siblings came to stay regularly & often long term with welcomed arms.
She was an amazing hostess.
Leslie married the love of her Life Larry & together they had two children whom she doted on through her exquisite culinarily skills. And because she was a seamstress, she wrapped her children in love with her handmade garments. Always active in her children’s lives through school, baseball & scouting & spent summers on Higgins Lake with her Coppertone babies.
Her kids gave her four grandchildren whom she adored more than Life & insisted they have ice cream with their morning waffles every visit!
Leslie other talents included being a student of photography & stained glass. She kept kept active roller-blading. Loving her dogs. Gardening, golf.
Leslie was the administrative assistant at East Grand Nursing Home. She touched the lives of those in need of individual support & attention.
Later in life, Leslie continued to touch the hearts and souls of the wonderful residents & staff at Pine Ridge of Hayes whom she loved living with.
Loving Wife & mother, devoted grandmother, niece & sister.
Preceded in death by her husband Larry Holmes.
Survived by her grandchildren Jacob, Olivia, Luke Tokarz & Tyler Holmes
