It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kevin Jardine, who left this world early on February 14, 2026 (Valentine’s Day), at the age of 68. Kevin was born on July 22, 1957, in Detroit, Michigan. Kevin devoted his life to his family, friends, and community.
Kevin is survived by his mother, Shirley, and his sister, Lisa. Kevin is also survived by his beloved wife, Kristi, who was his partner and confidante throughout their many years together. He was a cherished father to his children, Spencer (Marissa), Andrew, Conrad, Gino (Lia), Tony, Gina, Dominic, Santeno, and Angelo (Heather), Stephania (Christopher) as well as a proud grandfather to George, Caroline, Piper, Michele, and Amelia. Kevin is predeceased by his father, John “Jack”, his brother, Craig, and his granddaughter, Carmen.
For over 47 years, Kevin dedicated himself to protecting the campus of Royal Oak Beaumont. There, Officer Jardine was well-loved and also respected; his hard work and kindness touched the lives of many. He found joy in the simple things, whether it was taking long walks with his beloved dog, Ben, or hosting family BBQs that brought everyone together. He had an unwavering passion for sports, particularly for the Detroit Red Wings, and enjoyed sharing his enthusiasm with those around him.
As we honor Kevin's rich life and the love he shared, we invite family and friends to join us in remembering him. Funeral services will be held at Lee-Ellena Funeral Home on Wednesday February 18th from 1:00PM to 7:00PM, where we will celebrate his life and the profound impact he had on all who knew him. Your presence will bring comfort to his family as they navigate this difficult time.
Kevin Jardine will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to live on through the love he instilled in his family and the memories they hold dear. May he rest in peace.
